About the Role
This position provides leadership and support to parent advocates, individuals, and families, playing a pivotal role in administrative support for advocacy services. It also supports families to promote positive parent-child relationships and interactions, links them to resources, and advocates for their entitlements and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing case records, including sending required notices.
- Completing documentation for gift cards and Metro cards.
- Filing documents and health information case records.
- Answering phones, greeting, and announcing individuals and families to assigned workers.
- Scheduling, attending, and coordinating trainings for all program staff.
- Compiling and analyzing data related to client demographics, service utilization, outcomes, and satisfaction.
- Completing and documenting case work activities in tracking logs/excel sheets, PROMIS, CONNECTIONS, and other systems.
- Conducting monthly chart reviews of at least 10 case records.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Supporting other parent advocates/case aides on case assignments.
- Advocating for and assisting families with connecting to community-based resources and making referrals.
- Participating in initial intakes, contacts, and service plan meetings.
- Obtaining collateral documents quarterly and/or annually from medical, mental health, substance use, and academic programs.
- Educating parents on improving parenting skills and home management.
- Scheduling and participating in monthly unit, Interdisciplinary, and/or Clinical Team Meetings.
- Conducting interviews with families to obtain and provide necessary information.
- Demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity in collaborating with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.

- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Child welfare experience preferred.

- Work hours will be based on program needs and may vary.
- Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned within scope.
