About the Role

Immediate opening for a skilled Chiller Mechanic to support commercial and industrial refrigeration systems in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for a technician who thrives on troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, ensuring facility performance, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance on air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex malfunctions using refrigeration principles and electrical schematics.
• Manage chiller/BAS integration and overall system performance.
• Maintain boilers, pumps, and auxiliary equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Requirements

• 4+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC/R industry.
• Deep familiarity with water chillers and refrigeration.
• Universal EPA license preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, technical communication, and a total commitment to safety.
• Military training in relevant technical fields is highly desired.
