About the Role
Serve as a resource for safety managers and crew on job sites regarding safety protocols. Available to visit and train crews on job-specific certifications and developmental training, including planning and conducting safety meetings, compliance training, audits, and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to construction crew
- Visit job sites to monitor sites safety, inspections, and safety audits
- Manage safety programs, trainings, workshops, and meetings
- Monitor paperwork related to incident management (medical bills, injury report, insurance claims, or medical clearance)
- Conduct investigations of workplace accidents and incidents to determine their causes
- Assist with documentation
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related degree preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification in Construction
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain CHST within 6 months of employment
- Willing to travel and or relocate
