About the Role

The Receptionist is the face and voice of the dealership, making the first impression. This role offers growth and promotion potential within the company. The ideal candidate will be a smiling, multi-tasking team player who prioritizes customer service and can adapt quickly to changing duties and pace.

Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls for sales and service overflow calls
  • Handling and de-escalating guest concerns
  • Assisting customers with questions and directing them to the appropriate person or department
  • Providing basic information
  • Making and serving beverages and snacks at the complimentary coffee bar
  • Greeting customers with a smile
  • Continuous training to develop product knowledge
  • Contacting customers about registration stickers
  • Assigning key fobs and printing stickers
  • Organizing the book room
  • Working with the titles department regarding registration stickers

Requirements

  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience with business software (Email clients, Microsoft Office, Gmail for businesses)
  • Moderate understanding of utilizing multiple browsers and systems
  • Must be able to type at 45+ WPM
  • Polished, professional, and positive phone and email communication skills
  • Experience in an environment of moderate pressure, and capable of making conscientious decisions
  • Prior experience at a dealership or within the automotive retail or service industry is a plus
  • Fluency in English required (bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
  • Prior relevant hands-on experience with CRM software, sales, or phone systems is a bonus
