About the Role

The Parts Delivery Driver delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, maintains inventory control, and ensures a safe and secure environment. This role also involves working within the dealership warehouse, stocking parts, performing cycle counts, pulling orders, processing cores, and general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer safely, efficiently and on time
• Ensure proper inventory control
• Make sure customer needs are met and any issues addressed
• Ensure proper items pulled for delivery order
• Properly load orders into delivery vehicle
• Delivery to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain proper condition of delivery vehicle and notify supervisor of any repairs needed
• Verify orders for correct pulls
• Ensure cores are returned for credit
• Return incorrectly ordered parts
• Stock shelves as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Ensure orders are delivered on time
• Ensure all orders are accurate before delivery
• Quickly resolve any erroneous parts deliveries
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift certified
• Some delivery experience is preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
