About the Role
The SEO manager is responsible for helping clients improve organic visibility wherever search results are presented. This role develops, implements, and manages SEO campaigns for a Fortune 1000 client roster, involving significant client interaction and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage senior analysts and support their career growth.
- Translate client business goals into effective SEO strategies.
- Plan site structure and content strategy.
- Develop client dashboards and reports detailing trends.
- Collaborate with paid search teams to integrate SEO findings into broader media strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO strategy for assigned brands.
- Develop and share insights on SEO tools, news, and trends relevant to the client portfolio.
- Work with creative and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Understanding of SEO platforms (e.g., BrightEdge, Conductor, Searchmetrics, Moz, Screaming Frog).
- Proficiency in using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Webtrends).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of search engine functionality and core SEO/SEM principles.
- Strong command of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
