About the Role
Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to join our expanding academic Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician passionate about caring for women with medically and obstetrically complex pregnancies while contributing to academic medicine through education, research, and program development.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine services.
- Offer consultation for high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform detailed fetal anatomic imaging.
- Conduct prenatal diagnosis.
- Provide antenatal surveillance.
- Interpret ultrasound results.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care throughout pregnancy and delivery.
- Develop clinical programs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in clinical research.
- Educate the next generation of obstetricians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
- Care for patients with complex maternal medical conditions, fetal anomalies, multiple gestations, placental disorders, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, diabetes, preterm birth risk, and other high-acuity obstetrical conditions.
- Perform and interpret advanced obstetrical ultrasound, fetal growth assessment, Doppler studies, cervical length assessment, and prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
- Collaborate within a highly integrated multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in the education and mentorship of residents, medical students, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
- Pursue clinical research, quality improvement, simulation, medical education, or leadership initiatives.
- Support the continued growth and innovation of Maternal-Fetal Medicine services across the Tufts Medicine system, including in community satellite clinics.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care for medically and obstetrically complex pregnancies.
- Interest in academic medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and scholarly activity.

Salary/Compensations
- $300,000.00 - $408,500.00 annually
