About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and hiring KPIs; advise managers on candidate selection.
- Manage and mentor recruitment team members, ensuring effective execution of hiring plans.
- Design and oversee onboarding and employee development programs; coach managers and HR team on performance management and engagement.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of escalated issues.
- Manage compensation structure, job evaluations, and employee benefits programs.
- Maintain and communicate HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements to stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with labor laws, conduct investigations, and address employee grievances and workplace conflicts.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly HR reports to senior management using PPT and visual analytics, providing insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Employment Relations, Payroll, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising an HR team.
- Minimum 1 year of payroll processing or payroll oversight experience (ADP or similar systems preferred).
- Working knowledge of federal and provincial employment legislation.
- Experience handling employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in HR strategy, workforce planning, and leading HR initiatives.
- Experience preparing and presenting HR reports and analytics to senior management (PPT/visual reporting preferred).
Skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is a strong asset.
- CHRL and/or PCP certification (or actively working toward certification) is preferred.
