About the Role

The Electronic Banking Assistance Manager II is responsible for supervising the team, assisting, and supporting management through project coordination, review, and work organization to achieve optimum efficiencies in time and resources within department. The role also leads efforts designed to meet department and Company goals as identified by management. In addition, this role effectively collaborates with other departments as needed to understand impacts and ensure efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management in defining roles and responsibilities of team members; manage, coach, counsel team to meet department goals and achieve performance standards; encourage continuous improvement and career development.
  • Collaborate with management team on formulation and implementing strategies and processes to increase efficiencies, improve customer service, create, and achieve department procedures and goals.
  • Oversee daily department operations, supporting strategic plan; day-to-day operations, projects, and special assignments.
  • Assist with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program, as well as working with other internal/external auditors supporting internal controls mitigating company risks.
  • Assist Manager to optimize departmental practices; identify/collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders to understand impact from projects and resolve issues to achieve optimal implementation outcome.
  • Research, propose, and implement changes necessary to stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance directives. Remain current on regulatory changes/guidance applicable to Electronic Banking.
  • Assist Manager to provide quality control review of designated work; ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Facilitate customer escalation calls and situations to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction, provide call center support as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in banking
  • 4 years of banking experience preferred
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); knowledge of banking-related software a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; demonstrated ability to interact confidently and professionally with colleagues, management, customers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Proven organizational, project management, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations with emphasis on NACHA Operating Rules, OFAC, BSA/AML, and Regulation E
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with high degree of initiative and follow-through
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively use a telephone, computer mouse, and keyboard for extended durations
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds

Salary/Compensations

  • $62,400-$68,000 annually
  • Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s annual bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
