About the Role
This role is for a Senior Accountant - Publicly Traded Companies where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, united by a shared commitment to making a difference for clients, communities, and one another.
Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing audit risks assessments and conducting fieldworks for public and private company audits under IFRS
- Reporting to managers and partners on executions of the audit engagements
- Building and maintaining healthy working relationships with clients
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Able to deliver quality work and demonstrate excellent technical accounting skills under IFRS
- Mentor/train staffs and understand the importance of teamwork
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of UFE/CFE
- Public practice experience is required
- Experienced in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
- Superior people and client service skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadline
