About the Role

The Assistant Manager, Product Costume Jewelry & Other Accessories, acts as a brand ambassador and product expert, supporting the Manager, Product. This role is responsible for executing tasks that maintain the category's operations, including data gathering, product accuracy, buy process support, and managing product movement. It's an opportunity to build product fluency by understanding boutique-level insights and their connection to Merchandising decisions, ensuring collections are accurately represented and product has a purpose within the boutique narrative.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen category knowledge through daily engagement with product data, client feedback, floor observations, and reporting tools.
  • Support the Manager, Product with reporting and product search responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contribute ideas and creative solutions to enhance team processes, tools, and collaboration.
  • Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
  • Maintain a minimum of 50% floor presence to observe client response and Fashion Advisor storytelling.
  • Execute day-to-day product movement within the assigned category, ensuring full visibility with on-hand inventory.
  • Manage product flow at the tactical level, reviewing deliveries and routing to appropriate boutiques.
  • Process product requests from other boutiques, coordinating with the PM on balancing needs with strategy.
  • Support the client reserves lifecycle, assisting with documentation and tracking.
  • Maintain SKU-level tracking and accountability across the category, monitoring status and movement.
  • Gather and organize data for category analyses, including sell-through reports and client demand patterns.
  • Flag data anomalies, emerging patterns, or notable client feedback to the PM.
  • Consolidate buy review materials for the PM, including performance summaries and reserve documentation.
  • Support the PM in documenting collection feedback and client reserves in the buying tool.
  • Assist with sizing data preparation for applicable categories.
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for the HO category buyer.
  • Observe and learn from the buy process, understanding how boutique insights translate into buy decisions.
  • Support PM, Fashion Ex, and VM teams in pre-launch activities.
  • Enter and maintain client reserves in the Reserve Tool, ensuring accurate capture and trackability.
  • Assist in communicating product updates to internal teams using self-service dashboards and system tools.
  • Support PM, VM, and Fashion Training & Styling peers by providing accurate product details and data.
  • Support all floor moves in the assigned category, executing global image standards within local context.
  • Execute day-to-day sell-through tracking at the category level.
  • Track client reserve conversion, following up on pending and expired reserves.
  • Review and action product requests, keeping PM and AD informed.
  • Observe product-client interactions on the floor and share observations with the PM and peers.
  • Maintain real-time SKU visibility for the PM and AD.
  • Share in-season performance insights with the HO category buyer.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
  • A flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Requires full-time in-store presence to ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld and execute for business results.
