About the Role

AKA NYC is seeking an Account Supervisor for its Arts & Attractions division to lead day-to-day client work, integrating creativity, media, data, and culture to drive visitation and audience engagement for iconic cultural institutions and live experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, understanding their organizations, audiences, goals, and challenges.
  • Lead client meetings and communications, anticipate needs, and guide decision-making.
  • Translate client ambitions into clear strategies, briefs, and effective campaigns across various channels.
  • Ensure cohesive strategy by connecting dots across disciplines and aligning work with objectives.
  • Educate clients on how different media channels work together to drive demand and support the audience journey.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Business Intelligence, Ticketing, Media, Strategy) to analyze audience behavior and campaign performance.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, scopes, deliverables, feedback, approvals, and internal coordination.
  • Guide and develop junior team members through clear direction and feedback.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in account management, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience managing client relationships and integrated campaigns independently.
  • Genuine excitement for arts, culture, attractions, destinations, tourism, entertainment, and experience-based industries.
  • Understanding of digital and traditional media and their integration within campaigns.
  • Ability to connect creative ideas, audience insights, media strategy, and client business objectives.
  • Confident and thoughtful communicator, capable of leading discussions, writing clearly, and building relationships.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strategic big-picture view.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and remain composed.
  • Comfortable identifying challenges, recommending solutions, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Experience guiding, mentoring, or supervising junior team members.
  • Curious, collaborative, and proactive approach.
  • Experience with ticketed attractions, cultural institutions, destinations, tourism organizations, or attendance-driven businesses is a plus.
