About the Role
Provide exceptional service to all residents, prospective residents, guests, clients, and vendors, acting as the face of the property and promoting a sense of community.
Responsibilities
- Welcome residents and guests, answer the Concierge phone line, manage after-hours package pickup, address resident inquiries and concerns, update communication logs on the resident portal, and manage general security.
- Provide information, resources, and a welcoming environment for residents, customers, vendors, and neighbors.
- Possess sound knowledge of the community and surrounding area to answer questions with certainty.
- Build strong relationships with current and future resident community members.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents to ensure open and effective communication.
- Assist with on- and off-site resident events and initiatives.
- Provide marketing support through social media postings, blogging, and internet presence.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure sociable and pleasurable event environments.
- Provide general resident services such as carrying items to suites, calling taxis, and scheduling reservations.
- Ensure property inventory in the Community Amenities area.
- Monitor and assist with Amenity reservations and events.
- Review the Activity Log and be ready to begin work at the commencement of the shift.
- Maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality and discretion regarding residents.
- Adhere to all property guidelines and standards of performance.
- Maintain the work area to an appropriate level of presentation.
Requirements
- Completion of High School or general education degree (GED).
- 2+ years in an upscale customer service/concierge setting preferred.
- Existing knowledge of neighborhood and community preferred.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends) is required.
- A commitment to 'Best in Class' Customer Service.
- A professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriately.
- Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines.
Experience Level
- 2+ years in an upscale customer service/concierge setting preferred
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
