About the Role
The Players Club Representative is responsible for issuing player rating cards, updating contact information, assisting with guest inquiries, and facilitating rewards redemptions to create a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide the ultimate guest service.
- Assist preferred players with reservations for restaurants, hotels, and transportation.
- Verify identity with government-issued photo IDs before changing or creating accounts.
- Enter guest details and contact information in the CMS for all members.
- Explain promotional rules and details to guests.
- Assist guests with card usage at slot machines and Marketing Kiosks.
- Print new and/or replacement cards for Genting Rewards members.
- Assist Genting Rewards members with rating inquiries.
- Help guests navigate the property and gaming floor.
- Promote the benefits of Genting Rewards membership.
- Stay current on marketing and community events.
- Create new guest accounts and update contact information.
- Sign up new players using a mobile device in assigned gaming spaces.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer and employee relations.
- Greet guests at the Players’ Club, entrances, and lobbies.
- Swipe rated players into events or promotional offers via a mobile device.
- Register guests into Slot Tournaments and provide registration slips/vouchers.
- Process Players’ Club applications and player service inquiries.
- Distribute rewards to Players’ Club members.
- Perform service checks on Marketing Kiosks, including maintenance and reporting issues.
- Scan gift vouchers after each redemption.
- Assist the Promotions & Special Events team with organizing and distributing gifts.
- Distribute Promotional gifts to invited players at various locations.
- Provide feedback to the marketing department regarding club and guest issues.
- Assist in the execution of promotions, programs, and drawings.
- Communicate effectively with guests based on direction from the marketing department.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- One year of experience in guest service, gaming preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing programs or ability to learn.
- Knowledge of computer systems.
- Knowledge of promotional system setup or ability to learn.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate gaming license through the New York State Gaming Commission.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries.
- Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to decipher and maintain reports.
- Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
- Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds.
- Varied instances of standing/walking.
