About the Role

As a Cortex Transformation Engineer, you are a critical part of the Global Transformation Practice, ensuring enterprise customers undergo a flawless migration and security operations transformation to modern platforms. You will own the end-to-end customer transition lifecycle, compressed into a high-velocity sprint, combining deep technical engineering acumen with exceptional customer-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the technical migration of customer environments from legacy to modern platforms.
  • Own policy mappings, data retention configurations, API setups, and log ingestion validations against Palo Alto Networks "Golden Standard" design templates.
  • Run practitioner-focused "Day in the Life" (DITL) workshops to educate customer teams on native platform workflows, alert triage, incident response, Agentic-AI and automated playbooks.
  • Lead highly structured Value Realization sessions with customer technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ROI, security efficacy and operational efficiency using native platform dashboards to secure formal project sign-off.

Requirements

  • Professional-level technical acumen with security operations infrastructure, cloud migrations, or technical consulting.
  • Hands-on expertise with the Palo Alto Networks portfolio (Cortex XDR/XSIAM, Prisma Cloud, or Strata) or direct competitive migration experience.
  • Strong technical background in security automation, including execution of CLI scripting, Python, and REST APIs for bulk policy configuration and data modeling.
