About the Role
The Project Manager, Internal Audit supports effective department operations and the coordination of key governance activities. This role manages complex calendars, Audit Committee and Board deliverables, department communications, and action item tracking to ensure priorities are executed efficiently and on time. The role also supports strategic initiatives, audit observation follow-up, stakeholder engagement, executive reporting, and the operational cadence of the Internal Audit function. Acting as a central coordination point across Internal Audit, management, and key stakeholders, this individual drives accountability, consistency, and execution across departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule various project workloads.
- Gather and analyze information to prepare status reports.
- Ensure assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.
- Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
- Track and record costs through work orders and invoices.
- Ensure all project steps and activities are properly documented and closed in scheduling systems.
- Research, monitor, and analyze data to produce business insights and action recommendations.
- Coordinate work of cross-departmental teams to ensure project objectives are achieved and timelines are met.
- Follow up with various stakeholders to ensure project plans are executed as expected.
- Serve as a central point of contact to relay, facilitate, and keep stakeholders apprised of project status.
- Respond to questions or inquiries regarding the project.
- Maintain open communications and relationships with clients and the project team.
- Coordinate and conduct meetings as appropriate.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in managing small to medium scale projects.
- Occasional direction in several aspects of work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects or competing deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to research issues, prepare evaluations on problems, and recommend viable solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing data, with skill in optimizing work processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in project tracking and management.
- Demonstrated capability to communicate and work effectively at all levels of the organization, inspiring respect and credibility.
- Ability to observe confidentiality.
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint is required.

Salary/Compensations
- $83,000 - $104,000
