About the Role

The Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for coordinating, programming, shipping, and receiving of medical devices, imaging phantoms, site documentation, and all supplies to support a global customer base within the clinical research industry. This role manages supply chain responsibilities to maintain sufficient levels of supplies and equipment, utilizes an inventory system for orders and reporting, and handles global logistics, including international importation documentation and alternative courier coordination. The position also involves processing device receipts, configuring and troubleshooting cardiac equipment, managing the RMA program, and monitoring shipment alerts.

Responsibilities

Create, assemble, and distribute all supporting documentation for shipments of medical devices, supplies, imaging phantoms, or site documentation globally.
Develop international documentation to meet the specific requirements of each country, clinical research organization, sponsor, and site.
Manage all communications and activities with external logistical courier services, ensuring timely delivery and pickup, and serving as the main point of contact for shipment issues.
Support configuration, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of cardiac equipment, including ECG, Holter, ABPM, and TTM devices.
Manage the evaluation and repair of returned equipment, communicating status to Project Management via the RMA program.
Monitor and assist with shipment alerts and exceptions, facilitating resolution by liaising with internal and/or external stakeholders.
Assist and communicate regularly with management to monitor and maintain supply chain flows, ensuring sufficient supplies and equipment availability.
Liaise with Operations and/or the distribution center to ensure timely and quality shipments, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing feedback on shipping errors.
Provide department training for Logistics Coordinators, acting as the subject matter expert.
Assist with Customer Support tasks as needed.
Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

Medical Device experience is a plus.
Experience working in the shipping industry preferred.
Vendor management experience is preferred.
MS Office experience: Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

$51,552.00-$64,440.00
