About the Role

The Meta Product Technical Program Management (TPM) community pioneers technologies to bring people and businesses closer together globally. Product TPMs operate at the intersection of technical execution and business strategy, partnering closely with Engineering and Product teams to drive impact and deliver measurable results. As a TPM for Business Messaging, you will be responsible for delivering significant business value by building API platforms and shared foundations to enhance the user journey within Meta's messaging apps and monetize them effectively. You will collaborate with talented engineers, product managers, and data scientists to build a long-term technology portfolio that drives Meta's next business pillar, driving technical strategy, system architectural discussions, and making future-proof decisions aligned with product strategy.

Responsibilities

Build aligned program teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals, with an understanding of the technical designs and customer needs.
Collaborate with engineering and business owners to define program requirements, identify priorities, establish scope, and define the roadmap for deliverables.
Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross-functional execution of program deliverables.
Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
Influence product decisions to align with higher company initiatives.
Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing manual efforts through automation.

Requirements

B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery.
Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
Organizational coordination experience and experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems and processes.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements).
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews).
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies.

Experience Level

4+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

Education Level

B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Salary/Compensations

$108,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
