About the Role

Blackstone Private Wealth is seeking a commercially minded Vice President, Product Specialist focused on Blackstone’s Private Credit platform. This role sits at the intersection of investments, product strategy, and distribution, serving as a commercial partner to sales teams, investment professionals, and clients across the wealth ecosystem. The Product Specialist will play a central role in driving fundraising outcomes, deepening strategic client relationships, and positioning Blackstone’s private credit capabilities within evolving portfolio allocation trends. The successful candidate will combine strong investment acumen with exceptional commercial instincts and client engagement skills. They will act as a trusted advisor to financial intermediaries and institutional partners, translating complex market and portfolio insights into compelling, actionable narratives that support asset growth and client retention. This position offers high visibility across Blackstone’s Credit and Private Wealth businesses, significant internal and external engagement, and direct exposure to some of the firm’s most strategic wealth management relationships globally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior product and market expert on Blackstone’s private credit platform, representing the firm’s capabilities across fundraising, client engagement, and strategic product positioning initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Private Wealth distribution teams to drive capital formation efforts across wirehouses, private banks, RIAs, independent broker-dealers, and family offices.
  • Produce and deliver investor-facing materials including fundraising updates, market commentary, competitive analysis, performance attribution, and portfolio insights.
  • Lead high-impact meetings with financial advisors, CIOs, investment committees, due diligence teams, and end-clients to articulate investment strategy, portfolio positioning, market opportunities, and performance outcomes.
  • Develop differentiated commercial messaging and thought leadership around private credit markets, income-oriented investing, portfolio construction, and alternative allocations.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives for perpetual and semi-liquid vehicles, including competitive positioning, advisor education, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Translate complex investment concepts, portfolio developments, and market dynamics into clear, compelling narratives tailored for sophisticated wealth management audiences.
  • Collaborate directly with investment teams to maintain real-time insights into portfolio activity, deployment pipelines, market conditions, and performance drivers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Investor Services to execute strategic product and distribution initiatives.
  • Contribute to broader business strategy by identifying market trends, advisor needs, competitive developments, and opportunities to enhance Blackstone’s positioning within the private wealth channel.
  • Maintain strong awareness of global capital markets, asset allocation trends, and evolving advisor adoption of private market solutions.
  • Ensure all communications and client interactions adhere to Blackstone’s compliance and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience across private markets, asset management, private credit, alternative investments, or investment distribution.
  • Strong commercial orientation with demonstrated success supporting fundraising, client engagement, or product growth initiatives within the wealth management channel.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events.
  • Deep understanding of private credit markets, alternative investment structures, and portfolio construction frameworks.
  • Experience supporting interval funds, perpetual capital vehicles, or private market solutions designed for wealth clients is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing sophisticated investors, advisors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience synthesizing market intelligence, portfolio data, and competitive insights into actionable commercial recommendations.
  • Proven experience building relationships and collaborate effectively across investment teams, distribution, and corporate functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution skills and operating effectively in a highly growth-oriented business.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required, or willingness to obtain within one year of employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
