About the Role

This role is at the forefront of defining the AI Agents that businesses will use to interact with their customers. It offers intensive training on the Regal AI Agent Platform, focusing on prompt engineering and conversational flows. This position serves as an entry point into the AI field, preparing individuals for senior roles in engineering, product management, or customer success within 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements by collaborating with AI Forward Deployed engineers and reviewing customer documentation.
• Shape conversational experiences by building AI Agents on the Regal AI Agent Platform and tuning settings for optimal quality.
• Build custom functions and tooling to extend LLM capabilities and enable AI Agents to perform specific actions.
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure AI Agents meet quality standards.
• Iterate on AI Agents based on customer success criteria in partnership with AI Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Codify and share best practices for AI Agent development and document learnings.
• Provide product feedback to Regal PMs and Engineers based on user experience and identify areas for platform enhancement.
• Support sales demos by building AI Agent MVPs during the sales process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science) or equivalent experience with prompt engineering.
• 1-2 years of work or internship experience at startup tech companies, or impressive personal/school projects with documentation.
• Demonstrated curiosity for AI and Voice, keeping up with industry products and experimenting with conversational design or prompt engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an iterative approach to tackling challenges.
• Effective time management skills, including prioritization, deadline management, and proactive communication.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for work, with a willingness to make smart trade-offs and iterate quickly.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with adaptability and a growth mindset.
