About the Role
WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH is seeking a creative News Videographer/Editor who can bring compelling stories to life. This role involves covering general assignments, in-depth features, and investigative stories using high-definition equipment and non-linear editing systems.
Responsibilities
- Cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments.
- Shoot full high definition (HD) on media cards.
- Edit using non-linear edit systems.
- Produce good stories under tight deadlines.
- Operate ENG news vehicles.
- Edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages.
Requirements
- Must have strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems.
- Must possess excellent people skills.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have a great attitude.
- A passion for story telling is essential.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.
