About the Role

Performs custodial duties in an indoor setting as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned tasks at cleaning sites including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Assists in moving supplies and equipment.
• Notifies supervisor of problems or difficulties in performing job duties.
• Monitors inventory of supplies and notifies team leader when replenishment is needed.
• Notifies team leader if equipment is not working properly.
• Performs additional related duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

• Must have at least six months of prior porter cleaning experience or completion of ACCES-VR porter training program.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor.
• Ability to understand instructions given by supervisor.
• Has some training in the use of commercial cleaning equipment.
• Carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing experience required.
• Must have a qualified NYS driver's license.
