About the Role
Support the design, analysis, and execution of systems and components across energy, infrastructure, and industrial projects. This role combines technical depth with practical field awareness, ideal for professionals who want to make a measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review mechanical designs, layouts, and specifications for systems such as piping, HVAC, or equipment installations
- Perform calculations, load analysis, and system sizing
- Review technical drawings, P&IDs, data sheets, and vendor documentation
- Assist in equipment selection, material take-offs, and procurement support
- Support field construction and commissioning teams with installation guidance, technical clarifications, and punch list resolution
- Ensure all mechanical systems are designed in compliance with codes, industry standards, and client requirements
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and site personnel
- Maintain project documentation and participate in design reviews and project meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3–8 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably in energy, utilities, or industrial sectors
- Proficiency in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit)
- Familiarity with CAESAR II or similar analysis tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of ASME, API, and other industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to project sites for field support, if needed
