About the Role

Braun Intertec is seeking experienced Construction Materials Technicians for a traveling position on Data Centers, Commercial Warehouses, and other remote projects. This role requires dependability, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work overtime, weekends, and outdoors in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate possesses strong integrity and self-motivation, performing routine inspections and testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform concrete and compaction testing on commercial construction projects
Prepare daily reports on testing and daily activities
Report observations and test data with accuracy and completeness
Communicate test results with project leads and site superintendents/foreman
Work with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed

Requirements

A valid driver's license and a good driving history
Ability to travel extensively to remote project sites throughout the US
Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required
Technical expertise in electronic field data collection
Able to interpret plans and specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to lift 50 pounds

Skills

Previous materials testing experience preferred
iPad experience a plus
