About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our preschool team, working alongside a team of certified Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, and Certified Teacher Assistants to support children's development and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care and instruction to preschool children ages 3-5.
- Support the development and education of preschool children within inclusive classrooms.
- Teach developmentally appropriate academic and social skills through various interaction methods.
- Create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies.
- Set and reinforce classroom expectations and routines.
- Prepare goals and instructional materials.
- Coordinate curriculum implementation with the preschool team.
- Communicate with team members, administrators, and parents regarding children's development and behavior.

- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., Elementary Education).
- An active NYS Teacher certification is preferred.
