About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive the planning, design, and construction of innovative retail real estate as part of a program with a large client. The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience working on retail or commercial construction projects and be a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency who can take initiative and drive activities with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage individual tasks throughout the design, procurement, and construction process, including furniture installation and coordination with client IT.
- Work with the client team to identify initial budgets and scheduling at project feasibility.
- Set up and lead meetings, transcribe meeting minutes, and drive action items to closure.
- Ensure project compliance with client’s document controls and file specifications.
- Collaborate and coordinate with client stakeholders, consultants, client direct vendors, and contractors.
- Provide regular reporting.
- Maintain budget and schedule, identifying potential solutions for issues that jeopardize them.
- Manage procurement, recommendation, and appointment of consultants and contractors, and establish quotations and order placement with client direct vendors.
- Elicit and review deliverables from relevant appointed parties.
- Administer Contracts and Master Service Agreements through the project lifecycle.
- Manage change orders.
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly site visits during construction.
- Administer project observation reports.
- Process payments to consultants, contractors, and direct vendors in liaison with the consultant team.
- Manage punch lists.
- Participate in commissioning.
- Administer and coordinate project closeout documentation, including lessons learned workshops.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.
- Commercial or retail fit-out experience is required.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Project or P6.
- Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms.

Salary/Compensations
- $105,000 - $125,000 per year
