About the Role
You will make TUMO Berlin visible to teenagers, parents, schools, and partners. Your primary goal is to ensure that teenagers who would benefit most from TUMO learn about us and join. You will achieve this by planning online campaigns, creating content, managing our social media channels, and measuring the effectiveness of your efforts. You will collaborate closely with the Center team, our Marketing Manager, and the international TUMO network.
Responsibilities
- Planning, production, and distribution of social media content (photos, graphics, Reels/videos, captions)
- Managing our channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook)
- Establishing and maintaining a social media workflow: editorial plan, asset library, brand consistency, approval processes
- Maintaining a content calendar and editorial planning with the Center team
- Building and managing a social media content team of teenagers, coaches, and workshop leaders at the learning center
- Developing and managing online campaigns and ads, including budget responsibility
- Further developing and maintaining our funnels
- Analyzing performance and reporting results
- Identifying and engaging with influencers and content creators
- Maintaining and updating website content, including SEO optimization
- Managing our asset libraries (photo database, templates, icons)
- Supporting graphic design for other marketing materials
- Ensuring legally compliant image releases, especially for minors
- Collaborating with external service providers
- Supporting events and trade fair appearances
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in online marketing
- Experience in photo and video production
- Proficiency with common content tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Knowledge of current social media trends, sounds, and formats
- Experience with online campaigns: audience targeting, budget management, testing, retargeting (including tools like Google Ads and Meta Business Suite)
- Analytical understanding of KPIs and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Fluent German (C2) and good English for collaboration within the international TUMO network
- Data literacy: deriving decisions from analytics and ad reports
- Hands-on mentality: filming, editing, and posting yourself
- Creativity and speed to react promptly to trends
- Structured, organized approach to work for processes and editorial planning
- Patience and pedagogical skills in dealing with teenagers and their parents
- Strong communication skills within the team
