About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end Shopify customer projects, ensuring clarity, stability, and quality. You will lead complex projects from kick-off to go-live, taking ownership of quality, scope, and results. Your role involves structuring projects clearly, setting priorities, and ensuring transparent decision-making processes. You will proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and guide projects through challenging decision phases. Additionally, you will moderate decision rounds and stakeholder meetings to foster clarity and commitment. In critical project phases, you will structure requirements and prepare decision-making foundations with UX and Tech teams. You will also contribute conceptual expertise to proposal creation for large RFPs.

Responsibilities

Lead complex Shopify customer projects end-to-end, from kick-off to go-live
Take responsibility for quality, scope, and results as Project Lead
Structure projects clearly, set priorities, and ensure transparent decision-making
Identify risks early, resolve goal conflicts, and guide projects through decision phases
Moderate decision rounds and stakeholder meetings to create clarity and commitment
Structure requirements and prepare decision-making foundations with UX & Tech in early or critical project phases
Support proposal creation for large RFPs with conceptual experience

Requirements

5-7+ years of experience in project management of complex digital or tech projects (ideally agency or project-driven environment)
In-depth experience with Shopify projects, ideally including Shopify Plus (e.g., app landscapes, migrations, interfaces, complex setups)
Experience as a project lead with functional project responsibility (not just operational coordination)
Very strong communication and moderation skills
Structured, decisive working style
High degree of personal responsibility and reliability
Very good German and good English language skills
