About the Role

GXO is expanding its Internal Audit function and seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to support SOX ITGC testing and IT internal audits. This role offers the chance to join a collaborative global team, ensuring compliance, strengthening controls, and supporting business performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOX ITGC testing and IT audit fieldwork, ensuring controls are operating effectively and aligned to GXO’s framework
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for improvement, providing clear and actionable recommendations
• Prepare detailed audit documentation and reports that support findings and business decisions
• Work across international teams to support audit cycles, timelines, and compliance activities
• Take ownership of assigned audits from planning through to completion, maintaining high standards and meeting strict deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience in SOX ITGC testing and IT internal audits, including hands-on involvement in testing and identifying efficiencies
• Strong understanding of IT risk areas such as cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, or IT general controls
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple audit cycles effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across global teams
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and ownership of your work
