About the Role
Tufts Medical Center is seeking an MD/DO with ABMG active candidate status or certification as a Clinical Geneticist to join the expanding Division of Genetics. This role offers opportunities to shape and grow a regional genetics program within an integrated health system, with a diverse clinical practice including inpatient consultations, adult, pediatric, and cancer genetics outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consultations, primarily in the NICU.
- Conduct outpatient clinics in adult, pediatric, and cancer genetics.
- Deliver comprehensive, multidisciplinary care within an integrated health system.
- Broaden genetics services across the Tufts Medicine system.
- Teach and mentor future genetics professionals, including genetic counseling students and medical students.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the genetics program.
Requirements
- MD/DO with ABMG active candidate status or certification as a Clinical Geneticist.
- Eligible for or current medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Committed to education and teaching.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively across specialties.
- Dedicated to improving patient access to genetics services.
- Interested in a diverse clinical practice including cancer genetics and general genetics.
- Comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to adults.
