About the Role
As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will work across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to strengthen how we use data, processes, and technology to improve operational performance. You will take ownership of KPI governance and data integrity, support and strengthen S&OP processes, and help build the data infrastructure needed to create greater visibility and accountability across the business.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen S&OP processes by building and maintaining reliable S&OP inputs, fostering alignment and visibility into supply chain and operational priorities.
- Own KPI governance by building, maintaining, and improving KPI datasets, supporting performance reviews, and strengthening accountability.
- Improve data integrity by consolidating data from multiple systems, cleaning, structuring, and validating information for dashboards and reporting.
- Turn insights into improvements by conducting root cause analysis, collaborating on corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Advance automation and technology by exploring opportunities to apply AI and automation, supporting BI and dashboard development, and contributing to ERP enablement.
Requirements
- Practical understanding of manufacturing or supply chain environments, including materials, planning, inventory, and operations.
- Understanding of S&OP and ability to use operational data for issue identification, process improvement, and decision-making.
- High proficiency in Excel for data consolidation, cleaning, structuring, validation, and analysis.
- Ability to spot trends, anomalies, and inconsistencies in complex datasets.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems and understanding the importance of reliable data.
- Practical exposure to AI and automation for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Curious, hands-on approach, comfortable with evolving processes.
- Ability to prioritize competing needs, work through ambiguity, and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset with patience for problem investigation and challenging assumptions.
