About the Role
Education GmbH is seeking a Project Lead for its International Projects & Erasmus+ department in Berlin. This role involves managing a team and overseeing the conception, budgeting, application, and settlement of Erasmus+ projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the professional and organizational leadership of a seven-person team.
- Conception, budget planning, application, and settlement of Erasmus+ projects (vocational and school education) in accordance with applicable funding guidelines.
- Steering and coordination of project implementation with national and international partners.
- Planning, steering, and execution of project, information, and network events in collaboration with the team.
- Communication and coordination with funding bodies (BIBB, PAD) and the European Commission.
- Responsibility for complete project documentation, contract and invoice review, support for accounting, and project controlling.
- Preparation of progress and project reports in EU database systems, as well as for the support and coordination of audits.
- Responsibility for change management and continuous optimization of work and project processes through the use of digital solutions.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in organizing international projects or mobility programs.
- Strong communication skills and pronounced intercultural competence.
- Structured, independent, and service-oriented work style.
- Initial experience in the professional leadership of a small team and promotion of cooperative collaboration.
- Confident use of MS Office.
- German language skills at least at C1/C2 level and very good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
