About the Role
Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their New York litigation team, working closely with a Senior Partner on a diverse caseload. This role offers hands-on experience from day one, including taking depositions and making court appearances.
Responsibilities
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review
- Perform legal research and case analysis
- Appear in New York courts as needed
Requirements
- 3–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or environmental liability
- Active New York bar admission required
- New Jersey bar admission a plus
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Detail-oriented self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment
