About the Role

This 12-month maternity leave cover position, with potential for permanency, is critical to building the world's most effective learning experiences. You will combine subject knowledge in maths and sciences with creative visual skills to produce exceptional educational content, focusing on multimedia lessons and quiz development/quality assurance. Prior illustration or animation experience is not required, as training and tools will be provided. Generative AI tools may be used to assist in the workflow. This role is ideal for quick learners passionate about education and excited by the intersection of technical knowledge and creativity.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality visual assets (animations and diagrams) that align with our animation style guide and multimedia learning principles.
Fix past issues on live courses where required.
Collaborate with a small team to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines.
Take part in feedback loops, constantly improving composition and team working skills.
Support other content developers in their work, ensuring technical accuracy throughout the project.
Ensure all quiz content is accurate, high quality, and meet our guidelines for item design.
Use graphic creation tools to create suitable diagrams where quizzes require them.
Review and edit lesson scripts for technical accuracy and clarity.

Requirements

Strong subject knowledge in maths
Ability to quickly learn new tools
Clear and accurate written communication
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
Fluency in one or more of the sciences, up to A-Level
Experience creating multimedia content, educational or otherwise
Experience teaching or tutoring maths
Some experience with programming
Experience using generative AI tools
