About the Role

We are seeking a Barista with a passion for customer service to create an exceptional experience for guests by greeting, preparing food and beverages, serving, and cashing out guests with a smile. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, is fanatical about cleanliness, and pays close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
• Answer questions and make recommendations on food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
• Prepare cold and hot beverages to O&B standards
• Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
• Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
• Monitor the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
• Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products
• Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
• Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
• Follow all food safety standards and systems
• Other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• Prior barista experience desirable
• High attention to detail and cleanliness
• Passionate about customer service
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and sales ability
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests
• Experience in a similar environment an asset
• Must be available Monday to Friday starting at 6:30am
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
