About the Role
Provide high-quality, person-centred care to a male client living with learning disabilities, autism, and seizures. Specialist training will be provided for individual client needs and complex care interventions.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support with daily living
- Administering medication
- Moving and handling
- Supporting clinical interventions
- Developing a positive and trusting relationship with the client
- Working as part of a dedicated 1:1 or 2:1 care team
- Learning and delivering specialist complex care interventions
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months' UK-based care experience within the last 2 years
- Experience with personal care, medication, and moving & handling
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality care
- Interested in working a stable rota within a client’s own home
- Comfortable working independently as part of a 1:1 or 2:1 care package
- Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
- Willing to build strong, professional relationships with clients, families, and the wider care team
- Unable to offer sponsorship
