About the Role
Join our growing Maintenance Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Austin, TX! This position is eligible for our brand new "Texas Stay Program", which is designed to financially reward commitment, celebrate milestones, and support new-hires. You will be eligible to receive up to $3,000.00 during your initial first year with RPS.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
- Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Salary/Compensations
- Competitive base hourly pay
- Texas Stay Bonus program: $500 at 90-days, $1,000 at 6 months, $1,500 at one year
- Automatic quarterly pay increases after initial 90-days of service
