About the Role
This Fellowship aims to educate future leaders in the accessibility field by bridging academic research and practical application at LCPA. The Fellow will support various accessibility initiatives, research best practices, and complete a capstone project. This role offers professional development and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Researching, planning and supporting Relaxed Performances and Passport to the Arts.
- Preparing for and welcoming Lincoln Center Moments participants.
- Supporting staffing, registration and correspondence for access programs.
- Contributing to the Access Ambassador program, in-school skill building workshops, and job coaching.
- Designing, implementing and analyzing audience feedback.
- Developing new partners, programs, and supports for access initiatives.
- Researching, implementing and staffing accommodations for performances.
- Providing administrative departmental support.
Requirements
- Current or recent graduate student in Disability Studies, Special Education, Social Work, Museum Studies/Education, or similar programs.
- Personal or professional experience with disability strongly preferred.
- Required to work flexible hours, including weekdays, nights, and weekends.
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays for Passport to the Arts programs.
