About the Role
At EY-Parthenon, you will support CEOs, boards, and private equity firms in transaction-based transformations, from initial strategic thinking to successful implementation. You will work on groundbreaking projects across various industries, including strategy realignment, optimization, transformative deals, and restructurings. Utilizing data-driven insights and AI technologies, you will explore new markets, drive growth, and develop corporate and capital strategies that make a significant difference.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement carve-out or integration strategies across all business areas.
- Support all transaction steps in collaboration with various EY Parthenon functional areas, including target company analysis, partner search, due diligence, investor presentation creation, negotiations, contract finalization, and planning/operational execution for both sell-side and buy-side.
- Serve national and international clients as part of functional and sector-oriented teams.
- Collaborate closely with your team to overcome challenges and continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Completed studies with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative fields.
- Interest in strategy and transaction consulting.
- Initial practical experience in strategy, transaction, or restructuring consulting.
- Alternatively, strategy development or initial transaction experience from the finance or corporate world.
- Previous international experience.
- Critical fact-checking ability.
- Very good communication and negotiation skills in German (min. C1) and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint).
