About the Role
Join a highly motivated and friendly team providing advice to a wide range of private and public-sector clients in the UK, European, and global airports sector. This role involves working across technical, commercial, and strategic questions, developing advisory skills in a consulting environment, and specializing in airport planning, infrastructure, building design, engineering advisory, or capital investment programs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical analyses relating to airport infrastructure, capital investment programmes, aviation forecasts and business plans.
- Undertake report writing and presentations to clients.
- Lead workstreams and/or projects.
- Lead or support the delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Lead or support business development.
- Share knowledge and contribute to discipline development.
Requirements
- Have a degree with strong technical content such as in Engineering, Airport Planning, and Transport Planning.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Professional experience in airport planning, airport infrastructure, airport advisory, engineering consultancy, asset management or capital programme delivery.
- Willingness to develop expertise across other aviation advisory disciplines including traffic forecasting, business planning, economic regulation, strategy and transaction support.
- Excellent time management with the ability to juggle time across multiple projects and prioritise deadlines seamlessly.
- Excellent proficiency in oral and written English.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Client facing and/or client-side experience.
- Good team player, able to work collaboratively.
- Fluency in other languages from Europe, the Americas and Asia is a bonus but not essential.
- Experience of policy work (such as for the European Commission or the Department for Transport).
- Interest in sustainability matters.
