About the Role
As a working student, you will support participants in their learning journey and help shape the future of payroll education. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in payroll, support participants daily, and develop professionally.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for participants regarding organizational and content-related questions.
- Assist participants with practical tasks related to payroll accounting, salary calculation, and payroll-related processes.
- Provide guidance throughout the learning process, motivate participants during challenges, and help them stay on track.
- Help make technical content understandable and assist with applying topics such as gross-to-net calculations, social security, payroll taxes, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with instructors, relay feedback from the learning environment, and support quality assurance of programs.
- Participate in team calls, document relevant information, and support the further development of learning and support processes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a university or college, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Law, Tax Law, or a related field.
- Desire to gain practical experience in payroll, further education, or participant support alongside studies.
- First insights into payroll accounting, salary calculation, personnel administration, or HR operations are helpful but not required.
- Good basic understanding or strong interest in payroll-relevant topics such as payroll taxes, social security, and administrative HR processes.
- Ability to explain content clearly, listen attentively, and patiently interact with diverse individuals.
- Confident and friendly communication skills in German, with a respectful and reliable demeanor.
- Structured, reliable, and independent work style with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Digitally savvy and eager to learn new tools and topics.
- Must be currently enrolled in studies and able to support the company regularly as a working student.
- Availability ideally on at least 4 afternoons per week from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
