About the Role

As an Academic Manager at Kaplan International College London, you will use your knowledge of teaching and learning to help deliver a high-quality academic experience to a diverse, international student body. You will manage and motivate a team of committed teachers to perform to the best of their ability. This role is ideal for a motivated and innovative academic professional, experienced teacher or course leader, or aspiring academic manager looking to expand their skills with an industry leader.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to student-centered approaches to learning and teaching
• Experience of leading a project or initiative that has led to enhancements in a curriculum area/s
• Knowledge of the needs of international students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Resource allocation and organizational skills
• Ability to analyse data to make informed conclusions
• Ability to work collaboratively across a range of teams
• Expertise and teaching experience in Social Sciences and Business
• Previous experience of leading teams, coordinating academic delivery, supporting staff performance, or contributing to quality assurance and curriculum development is advantageous
• An interest in digital innovation, emerging educational technologies, and the effective integration of Generative AI in teaching and learning is beneficial
• Must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Must undertake an Enhanced Disclosure (including children’s barred list) via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• For roles that include teaching or coaching, a Prohibition from Teaching Check will be completed through the Teaching Regulation Agency
• Must not be barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children
