About the Role
As a Founder's Associate, you will work directly with our founder, taking on responsibility from day one, driving initiatives, and delivering on strategic and operational goals. You will be instrumental in digitizing a large European market and building the infrastructure for intelligent energy management in buildings.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Founder on high-leverage projects across operations, sales, product, and strategy.
- Take on concrete operational responsibility from day one, owning customer and object onboarding, managing property managers, installers, and suppliers, through to final handover.
- Identify manual and repetitive processes, implement no-code/low-code solutions (e.g., n8n workflows, Claude Code) to measurably increase operational efficiency.
- Support fundraising activities and attend customer and partner meetings.
- Maintain oversight of project status, identifying missing elements and pending actions.
- Drive own initiatives from idea to implementation, translating unclear problems into concrete plans with measurable results.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to derive decisions.
- Build and improve internal systems for reporting, documentation, and tracking.
Requirements

- Ongoing or completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Ideally 2+ relevant internships and/or professional experience in a startup, consulting, M&A, VC/PE, or Real Estate environment, or equivalent intensity from another field.
- High intrinsic motivation and strong entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to proactively drive projects, learn quickly, take responsibility, and handle ambiguity.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills to approach complex problems structurally, directly, and solution-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Technical affinity (e.g., AI, IoT, SaaS) and interest or initial experience in Real Estate, PropTech, ClimateTech, or Energy is a plus.
- Native-level German proficiency (non-negotiable) and fluent English.
