About the Role

NICO Europe GmbH is a leading provider of pyrotechnics in Germany with over 100 years of market experience. We are seeking support for our existing team in our Berlin warehouse. We are a growing company that works with passion and team spirit to provide professional, fast, and structured customer service. We need someone with a passion for moving goods, who thinks proactively and enjoys teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Goods receipt and incoming goods inspection, including unloading of overseas containers
• Ensuring proper storage of fireworks according to current safety regulations
• Outgoing goods, order picking, shipping preparation, and handover of goods to freight forwarders
• Internal goods movements using pallet trucks and forklifts
• Participation in inventory counts
• Warehousing and goods care
• Cleaning and maintenance of storage areas and company premises, as well as minor repair work
• Maintenance and servicing of operational tools and machinery
• Support for warehouse management and acting as deputy in their absence
• Taking over hall management
• Training, scheduling, and supervision of seasonal staff
• Processing internal inquiries via email or phone
• Support with general logistical tasks in the warehouse area

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in logistics or a comparable qualification
• Physical resilience and high reliability
• Forklift license
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Confident use of MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Focused and concentrated work, even under increased workload
• Independent and structured way of working
• Friendly and professional interaction with customers and partners
• Forklift license with additional training for reach trucks is a plus
