About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and influential leader to drive our Technical Accounting Advisory function, providing expert guidance across global fund accounting operations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape technical accounting strategy, lead transformation initiatives, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional support and innovation across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for technical accounting advisory services, driving transformation initiatives that enhance technical expertise, operational efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Lead the allocation of technical accounting resources across global fund accounting locations, ensuring the effective deployment of expertise and consistent support worldwide.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across Delivery and Product functions, fostering collaboration, alignment, and best practice sharing across regions.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex fund mechanics, management fee calculations, carried interest models, and investor transaction queries, providing expert guidance to fund accounting teams.
  • Sponsor and champion Qashqade, our global carried interest modelling platform, driving internal adoption while supporting client and prospective client engagement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience within private markets, alternatives, asset management, asset servicing, or fund administration, with a strong foundation in technical accounting.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of fund accounting operations, transfer agency processes, fund mechanics, management fee calculations, carried interest structures, and investor transactions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in industry reporting standards and frameworks, including statutory reporting (IFRS) and regulatory reporting requirements such as Annex IV.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior executives, lead change initiatives, and drive collaboration across globally distributed teams.
