About the Role
Seeking an exceptional Event Director to lead The Longevity Show through its next phase, managing a scaling London show while launching a new flagship edition in New York. This role owns the event end-to-end across both markets, including concept, planning, commercial growth, audience experience, and operational delivery. It's a rare opportunity to scale a flagship event and launch it in a new market, shaping content, partnerships, and attendee experience for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the strategic plan for The Longevity Show across London and New York editions, aligned with business objectives and commercial targets.
- Shape the conference program in partnership with Phil Newman (Longevity.Technology), ensuring a compelling mix of science, industry, and consumer-facing content.
- Lead the end-to-end launch of The Longevity Show in New York in 2027, adapting the London format for a new market, audience, and partner landscape.
- Build the venue, supplier, and partner network required for a flagship US event.
- Lead event operations across both markets, including venue selection, contractor/supplier procurement, production schedules, budget management, and onsite delivery.
- Implement processes for exhibitor management, delegate services, and speaker logistics.
- Manage all team functions, including content, sales, marketing, and event logistics, for both UK and US shows.
- Lead partnerships and marketing to drive ticket sales, sponsorships, and exhibitor revenue in both markets.
- Manage senior stakeholders and strategic partners, ensuring long-term relationships.
- Own the roadmap for the US launch and identify further international expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering large-scale conferences/exhibitions (1,000+ attendees).
- Proven track record in launching or scaling flagship B2B/B2C events.
- Experience launching an event in a new international market is a strong plus, ideally the US.
- Strong budget management and operational planning skills.
- Experience working with multi-stakeholder partnerships and high-profile speakers.
- Knowledge of the health, wellness, biotech, or longevity space is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented mindset; thrives in a build-from-scratch environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to the US.
