About the Role
As a Pre-/Post-Sales Engineer MEDI:CUS (w/m/d), you will be the technical spearhead for connecting new organizations and applications to the MEDI:CUS platform. You will be hands-on responsible for the successful onboarding of medical facilities such as hospitals onto the platform. You will also ensure that digital specialist applications are deployed efficiently, securely, and in a standards-compliant manner on our multi-cloud-capable platform. As part of GovTech Deutschland, you will directly contribute to making modern, sovereign cloud infrastructures for healthcare productively usable.
Responsibilities
- Accompany the connection of new medical facilities and clinics to the technical platform and provide support with technical questions.
- Provide technical support for onboarding new specialist applications onto the platform, especially with configuration, testing, and commissioning.
- Participate in the further development and automation of integration and deployment processes – e.g., through configuration and scripting tools or CI/CD pipelines.
- Close collaboration with our partners, hospitals, and manufacturers of digital specialist applications to clarify technical requirements and ensure compatibility with platform standards.
- Support in error analysis, performance optimization, and ensuring stable operation of integrated applications.
- Documentation of completed integrations and support in the further development of technical onboarding processes.
- Participation in the continuous improvement of the platform architecture, especially regarding scalability, security, and reusability.
Requirements
- Excellent completion of a university degree in computer science or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer or in Pre-/Post-Sales; experience in Cloud, SaaS, or Platform development is advantageous.
- Practical experience with network, API, and security topics (e.g., IAM, AD, DMZ, VPN, OAuth2, TLS) or sound knowledge of common DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Independent, pragmatic, and structured work style with enjoyment of operational, solution-oriented work.
