About the Role

As a Pre-/Post-Sales Engineer MEDI:CUS (w/m/d), you will be the technical spearhead for connecting new organizations and applications to the MEDI:CUS platform. You will be hands-on responsible for the successful onboarding of medical facilities such as hospitals onto the platform. You will also ensure that digital specialist applications are deployed efficiently, securely, and in a standards-compliant manner on our multi-cloud-capable platform. As part of GovTech Deutschland, you will directly contribute to making modern, sovereign cloud infrastructures for healthcare productively usable.

Responsibilities

Accompany the connection of new medical facilities and clinics to the technical platform and provide support with technical questions.
Provide technical support for onboarding new specialist applications onto the platform, especially with configuration, testing, and commissioning.
Participate in the further development and automation of integration and deployment processes – e.g., through configuration and scripting tools or CI/CD pipelines.
Close collaboration with our partners, hospitals, and manufacturers of digital specialist applications to clarify technical requirements and ensure compatibility with platform standards.
Support in error analysis, performance optimization, and ensuring stable operation of integrated applications.
Documentation of completed integrations and support in the further development of technical onboarding processes.
Participation in the continuous improvement of the platform architecture, especially regarding scalability, security, and reusability.

Requirements

Excellent completion of a university degree in computer science or a comparable field.
Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer or in Pre-/Post-Sales; experience in Cloud, SaaS, or Platform development is advantageous.
Practical experience with network, API, and security topics (e.g., IAM, AD, DMZ, VPN, OAuth2, TLS) or sound knowledge of common DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Independent, pragmatic, and structured work style with enjoyment of operational, solution-oriented work.
Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
