About the Role
This role involves providing end-to-end recruitment assistance for all retail positions within a designated brand portfolio, reporting to the Recruitment Lead - Retail. You will drive the talent strategy to engage, develop, and retain top talent across Accent Group's brands.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of roles, including advertising, job descriptions, and attracting top talent.
- Conduct formal phone screens and interviews to select high-caliber talent.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including advertising, screening, interviews, reference/background checks, offers, and onboarding.
- Manage the candidate experience and selection process for all internal and external candidates.
- Provide succession pipelines for critical roles through proactive sourcing to drive internal career moves.
- Develop and maintain relationships with preferred recruitment suppliers.
- Act as a business partner to develop and manage relationships with hiring managers across retail operations and support offices.
- Provide consistent communication to hiring managers, HR business partners, and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Drive employee/employer value proposition initiatives and attraction/retention strategies.
- Implement and coordinate project timelines and workstreams, such as volume recruitment for Back to School and Christmas.
Requirements
- Demonstrated 2 years of relevant recruitment and/or HR experience.
- Experience within retail operations as an area manager is highly regarded.
- Strong ability to manage high-volume vacancies across all job categories.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-based attitude; willing to go above and beyond to support team objectives.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Desire and ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Confidence to work autonomously and a driven self-starter.
- Ability to develop good working relationships across all levels of the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems.
- Genuine passion for retail and recruitment/talent acquisition.
