About the Role
The Contracts Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is a 36-month, entry-level program designed to cultivate professionals within the Contracts Management organization. It aims to develop 'action oriented' individuals who will lead effective change and promote innovation within BAE Systems, building a strong business skills foundation for a successful career in Contracts.
Responsibilities
- Participate in challenging rotational assignments across different business areas and facilities.
- Engage in contracts management training programs.
- Undertake advanced education and leadership development.
- Receive mentorship.
- Gain experience in major DoD program lifecycle phases (R&D, EMD, Production, Sustainment) and Commercial/Contract Operations.
- Relocate to a minimum of two different geographic locations during the 3 rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a business-related focus or liberal arts.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Ability and willingness to relocate and work at various sites.
- Superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated achievement in non-academic pursuits (athletics, clubs, organizations, special projects, military service, prior work experience).
- Internship/Co-op or project experience in a related field.
- Capacity and motivation for hard work.
- Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense security clearance.
