About the Role

This role interfaces between customers and the internal sales structure, providing technical support and advice while converting customer needs into business opportunities. The focus is on growing sales of carbon brushes and related products within the mining and wind sectors, servicing existing customers and seeking new ones.

Responsibilities

  • Driving growth for the sales of carbon brushes and related products in Mining and Wind Sectors.
  • Delivering comprehensive technical support to customers via online meetings and/or site visits.
  • Conducting trials with customers to demonstrate the benefits of Morgan products.
  • Championing continuous improvement by analyzing customer needs, benchmarking against competitor offerings, and conducting detailed lost-proposal reviews.
  • Performing technical and commercial evaluations.
  • Contributing to key financial KPIs, including revenue, EBITA, and trial success rate.
  • Upholding Morgan’s mission statement, safety leadership, and code of conduct.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development for technical products.
  • Market and segment awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer literacy in MS Office suite and MS Outlook.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and action-oriented professional.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to multi-task, solve complex problems, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold current Australia work permit.
